Court House is simply but pleasantly furnished and
heated by storage heaters. Its eight bedrooms, with between one and six
beds in each room, offer flexible sleeping arrangements.
Visitors will find a well-equipped kitchen, dining
room and smaller breakfast room, a large, comfortable lounge with a
tradtional open fire, three shower/bathrooms, as well as laundry and
drying facilities. Behind the House is a sun-trap courtyard (see
photo left) and beyond, a spacious enclosed garden leading onto
Curtis House and the Warden’s cottage.
There is a ground floor single bedroom suitable for
wheelchair users. We are currently investing in further adaptations to
the House to make it fully accessible for visitors with disabilities.
The Court House Wardens, Debbie and Alan,
are on hand to provide help and local information during your stay.
They live in the Warden’s cottage adjoining Curtis House at the rear of
Court House.
